Find a gig...find a musician!

Free Ads for musicians looking for a gig and bands looking for a player!

Any pictures or music files posted, remain the property of the individual for whom the ad was posted.

A number of clubs, where I did most of my playing, had either a Saturday/Sunday jam or an weekday, evening thing. The host band kept a list of those that wanted to get up and tried to balance out the evening.

So, if you know of any clubs that have organized, open jam sessions, please let me know.
I'll post them here and maybe we can get more face to face networking going. Be sure to include any details such as: are drums provided, amps, keys, etc.

Now, I'm talking about  a club atmosphere with an audience, host band, you know the drill,
not basement or garage situations, per say, that's up to individuals. If there isn't one in your area, maybe you could approach a club and get one going. Club owners tended to love them b/c every musician that shows up usually brings a thirsty friend or two. Give it a shot and drop me a note.
Thanks! Larry.

Jam Sites!  Please drop me a note if you know of any other open jams.

please listen to the whole song, general and grawling vocals are in most songs, at different part. Anyway I am looking to put
another band together, what do think? I have a drummer and a bass player, I need a rhythm, and lead guitarist or just a great lead.

New! Band looking for Bassist and singer
Do you want to be part of a brand new band who is planning to go as far as
we can? Then we are just the band for you. A new band is forming around the Branson Missouri area and we need two key
elements, a singer and a bassist. The type of music is mostly metal with other influences thrown into the mix.
No emo, no screamo. If this sounds like something you would want to be in, please contact me at
papajames@gmail.com
Drummer looking.
Well experienced (meaning I understand volume and dynamics) drummer with lead and backing vocals, great gear including p.a. and transportation is looking to hook up with an experienced band. I don't want/need to be famous, I just want to play some weekend gigs, make a few $'s and have some fun.  I'm looking for people who can have fun while being serious about the music. My background is Classic Rock, R&B, Blues,  and New Country. Because of the day job, which can also mean weird, retail hours, I'd prefer to play within the 4 States' area. For info please drop me a line at tuneman@littleshopofvoices.com or call 620-704-5815. Pittsburg, KS
Bass/Mandolin looking to jam.
I live in Pittsburg. I'm new to the area. I play the electric bass from the late 60's early 70's, taught by Cream and that type,
heavy on the blues and classic hard driving rock. Love to jam and adlib.  Also play and have electric/acoustic mandolin adapted
from my knowledge of blues licks from the guitar and bass. I can also throw in a little violin
